it must not suffer loss:
from vict’ry on to vict’ry
his army he shall lead
till evil is defeated
and Christ is Lord indeed.
lift high his royal banner,
it must not suffer loss:
from vict’ry on to vict’ry
his army he shall lead
till evil is defeated
and Christ is Lord indeed.

Stand
up, stand up for Jesus!
stand in his pow’r alone,
for human might will fail you

for human might will fail you
you dare not trust your own:
put on the gospel armour,
keep watch with constant prayer;

READING FROM
THE BIBLE : Psalm 6: 1-10 (King James Version)
(By. Ryan Hotmaruli Sipahutar; Herlina br. Sihotang; Deborah Lambok br. Sihombing; Elias Lumbanraja; Eriko Yusuf Junjungan Pasaaribu; Moh Bintang Dwi Prasetya Napitu)
(By. Ryan Hotmaruli Sipahutar; Herlina br. Sihotang; Deborah Lambok br. Sihombing; Elias Lumbanraja; Eriko Yusuf Junjungan Pasaaribu; Moh Bintang Dwi Prasetya Napitu)
6:1 O LORD, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.
6:2 Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed.
6:3 My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O LORD, how long?
6:4 Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies' sake.
6:5 For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?
6:6 I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.
6:7 Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies.
6:8 Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping.
6:9 The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.
6:10 Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.
After the reading the reader says
This is the word of the
Lord.
People
Thanks be to God.

SERMONS: 1 Chorintians 15: 1-5 (King James Version)
15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
15:2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
15:5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
1 Corinthians
15: 1-5
(P.Sidi Jumat 5 Mei 2017)
When our dream falls down and our heart
goes to pieces, we may feel thay everything is gone and nothing remains.
Therefore we need God, thouched to open our eyes, and we will see the majesty
of His plan.
When Christ who was crucified and he
revived walking together with His two deciples to Emaus, both of them were regreting
His death. “But we trusted that it had
been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the
third day since these things were done.” (Luke 24:21). Thus they said to Jesus who do not
recognize. “Then Jesus said unto them, O
fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: Ought
not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? “
(Luke 24:25-26).
Finally at the end they realized they
were having a conversation with Jesus. He’s alive!
When we experience failure, the risen
Lord comes to confort and to give us peace. He reveals His Glory as well as the
etenal cictory that belongs to us the bleesing of His Cross.
“THE PAIN THAT WE FEEL NOW CAN BRING US
A GLORY FOREVER”
Amen.
